Hallowbaloo Outreach - Children of Ohana Ola o Kahumana: In addition to giving Hawaii keiki a safe and fun Trick-or-Treat Gallery Walk, the Hallowbaloo is also helping bring Halloween to the children of Ohana Ola o Kahumana. Ohana Ola offers transitional housing for homeless adults with minor children in the Waianae Community and is part of the City and County of Honolulu's Homeless Services Program.

Thirty Pumpkins Donated: Thirty pumpkins will be delivered to Ohana Ola and carved by children of Ohana Ola. Their Jack-o-Lanterns will be displayed at the Hallowbaloo Street Festival. Prizes will be awarded for all Jack-o-Lanterns including prizes from the following Arts District Merchants:

• Pacific Traditions Gallery

Funds Donated for Purchase of School Supplies: The Hallowbaloo, Maile Shimabukuro and other donors will be giving $400.00 to Ohana Ola for purchase of school supplies for the Ohana Ola keiki. To make a donation, click the Donate Online button to the right.

An email will be sent to each donor after Halloween and will include documentation of each donation and the non-profit status of Ohana Ola.

The Halloween outreach effort is being coordinated by the Hallowbaloo, Ohana Ola and Maile Shimabukuro, the State of Hawai'i House Representative for District 45 - Waianae/Makaha and chair of the Human Services and Housing Committee.
